"Wear 'em out"
"Wear 'em out"- The tag line for a series of consumer ads for Daniel Green slippers. The ads started running in August and will be run in GQ, Vanity Fair, "O" (Oprah- the talk show lady's' mag) and Harper's Bazaar. Kurt Gardner of KSC did the snapping, hair/ make-up: Gretchen Hagan, and obviously I did the set propping and wardrobe. It's nice to see Rochester talent getting so much national ink.

ADDY Award Alert!
The Rochester Advertising Federation recently held its annual ADDY Awards and a project I worked on won! I was proud to be part of the team that produced the trade ad for Eastman Kodak and Adam Communications. It was a fun project!
The ad titled "Candlelight" was created for Kodak's PMI (Professional Motion Imaging), Vision 800T film. The ad won the ADDY in the "Trade publication (ad), multiple pages- 4 color" category.

I just finished working on a short movie which was filmed in Rochester this month. The script we worked from is a segment of a feature length work which hopefully will go into full production eventually. For this project I had the title of "Art Director" which basically is the same thing I do for many of my still projects. I coordinated all props and set design. The shoot took place in an unoccupied carriage house on Prince street which as you can guess required extensive set dressing in order to get the appropriate "lived in" look.
